Meet the dynamic Democratic candidate vying for the Texas House District 67 seat, a woman whose life experience is as diverse as the district she aspires to represent. As a devoted mother of three and grandmother of two, family values are at the core of her campaign. Her involvement as a Football Booster Club Mom showcases her commitment to community engagement and support for local youth activities.
With over five years of experience as a substitute teacher, she brings firsthand knowledge of the challenges facing the education system and is passionate about advocating for quality education for all. As a small business owner, she understands the importance of economic growth and job creation, pledging to champion policies that foster a thriving local economy.
Adding a unique perspective to her candidacy, she proudly served as a military wife, navigating the complexities of life in the armed forces. This background equips her with a deep understanding of the needs and concerns of veterans and military families.
Her multifaceted life journey reflects a commitment to service and an understanding of the diverse issues that impact the lives of those in Texas House District 67. With a vision for progress and a dedication to community, she emerges as a formidable candidate ready to advocate for positive change in the heart of Texas.
1. Making sure everyone has access to affordable housing and fair wages to help working families stay secure in their homes.
2. Supporting our educators with better pay and giving our public schools the resources they need to thrive.
3. Protecting reproductive rights and affirming the simple truth: "My Uterus, My Choice!"
My WHY is to make sure that the concerns and struggles we have are heard in Austin and are voiced by someone who has first-hand experience. I feel like I'm a natural fighter and I believe it's time to speak up and fight for everyday people. I want to do what's right for myself and others.
As a Texas native and a member of the working class, I experience the impacts of the laws that are passed in Austin. Who's better to pass laws and advocate for those who need a voice than someone who has lived through those hardships like so many others in House District 67?
I plan to be the new voice in our community to make sure our concerns are not just heard but actually resolved.
